This innovative program, known as the SplashFit Aqua program, combines energetic music, dynamic training, and easy-to-follow, repetitive movement sequences. Its simple structure ensures that classes are accessible to participants of various fitness levels, while the carefully selected exercises deliver an effective full-body workout. With SplashFit💦, you have the flexibility to create a variety of workouts – with or without equipment – making every class dynamic, effective, and full of energy.
Course Aim
This Aqua fitness certification course will prepare you to work professionally as an Aqua Instructor and confidently deliver your own SplashFit Aqua program classes.
You will learn how to plan and deliver effective group fitness classes in the water, work with music, communicate and cue participants, and select appropriate exercises. Additionally, you will gain skills to ensure a safe and professional training environment for both yourself and your participants.
The Aqua fitness instructor training programme includes practical training, theory, workshops, and an individual assignment.
Duration: 8 hours / 1 day + home assignment.
Course Content
Participation in a SplashFit💦 Master Class is essential for anyone pursuing an Aqua fitness certification. This class covers exercise technique and movement mechanics in water, along with poolside cueing and communication skills. You'll also learn about warm-up and stretching routines specific to aqua fitness instructor training. Additionally, we discuss working with music and creating playlists tailored for the SplashFit Aqua program, and explore how to effectively use additional aqua fitness equipment. Safety and legal considerations are also addressed, alongside marketing strategies and common challenges faced in the field, ensuring you're well-prepared for planning and preparing your own aqua fitness classes.
